From one of the largest tea gardens in Japan, we deliver matcha green tea grown in tropical areas directly under thorough quality control. This precious matcha is made in Kagoshima Prefecture using tea leaves from Kagoshima Prefecture.
Domestically produced Kagoshima matcha can be used not only for practice, but also for a variety of purposes, such as gifts, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Respect for the Aged Day, gifts, small gifts, heartfelt gifts, and return gifts.
Wakoen has been making tea in the land of Kagoshima for over 70 years. Tea leaves grown in more than 270ha of tea fields, including our own farms and contract farms, are manufactured in a large-scale tencha factory that has acquired FSSC22000 certification, a global food safety standard. We take pride in our Kagoshima matcha, which we consistently make from tea leaves harvested at our own farm, from the tencha process, finishing process, bagging process, to sales.
Although it is not organically certified, we produce tea without relying on chemical pesticides, and we have a track record of exporting to export destinations such as the EU and Taiwan, which have strict pesticide inspections during customs clearance. You can drink.
